There are very few places in Australia with the sub-tropical climate of Byron Bay that offer in equal measure superb beaches and pastoral hinterland and teaming rain-forests. Byron is unique because Byron Bay is nestled in front of beautiful mountain ranges that tumble into the sea. Mount Chincogan and Mount Warning loom and follow you as the roads twist and turn. But follow all the roads downhill and you will end up at some of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. Beautiful and Safe! What the tourism brochures do not tell you about the beautiful Northern Territory and even Far North Queensland is that swimming in the ocean is dangerous – there are many stingers, blue bottles, jelly ...

I made very conscious choices about what I want in my life. A healthy wholesome lifestyle that was not built on survival panic or material greed was the basis. Another was to surround myself with love - loving people who could encou ...

I can truly say that Byron Bay is different. It is the pioneer; the test ground; the pilot episode for a new reality show. Byron Bay is innovative, brave and full of heart. "Where's your proof. Where's all the empirical investigation? How can you be so sure?" Well, I have one word for all you sceptics - Pink Nail Polish (OK, 3 words). I recently went to visit two dear friends who have two little boys (I can hear a Rolf Harris Song Coming on). Their sons are called Zade, almost 3 and Jaya, 6 months. Two little angels, really sweet and curious and so joyful. These little bundles of Oxytocin (love and bonding hormone) fill my heart and give me hope. Children in Byron are raised with a different ...
