Windhorse Gallery is the co creation of Charlie and Laara Cooper. They have spent many years in the East and are captivated and inspired by the beauty and wisdom that is inherent in the sacred art of Tibet. They hand pick each piece for the gallery aiming to support the traditional arts of Tibet. Therefore all artworks are authentic, high quality items created by Buddhist master artists. The thangka paintings are all hand done using natural mineral pigments; the Buddhist statues are hand cast and hand carved; and the Tibetan rugs are woven using natural dyes and Himalayan wool. The gallery also offers luxurious cashmere sweaters and blankets and pashmina shawls. The gallery also specialises in Tibeatan “singing bowls;” stocking an extensive range of antique singing bowls used for centuries for healing and meditation.
